Wiki Version:
The static data files associated with the peer-reviewed article published on Scientific Data can be found at [https://osf.io/jqrma/][1] ***The original registration has been withdrawn because the csv raw data files contained potentially identifying information. This information has been removed and a new registration can be found at the following URL [https://osf.io/egj64/][2] No other files were changed.*** "Meta-analysis and forest plot.R" file consists of the R code to replicate the forest plot of our meta-analysis of our replication alongside the original study. "Raw Replication" files 1-4 on this component are unaltered data collected from Qualtrics. These files can be opened in Excel. This data comes directly from the data collected from Qualtrics. "Replication Data" files 1-4 are .sav files which can be opened on SPSS to see the data after it has been cleaned from the raw data files. "Replication Data" files also have had participants who did not complete the experiment properly removed either due to failing to pass a quality check or due to failing to attention probe. "Replication Output" files 1-4 are .spv files that can be opened on SPSS to see the results of the replication study. These Output files can be replicated using the "Replication General Syntax" file with the "Replication Data". The information in the output files are what has been reported in the manuscript. "Replication Study Round (#)" files are .qsf files that can be opened on Qualtrics. In these files one can examine how the questions were presented to participants. "Replication General Syntax" is a .sps file that can be opened on SPSS and can be ran on "Replication Data" files to get the "Replication Output". This is intended for anyone who wishes to check how the output was generated. [1]: https://osf.io/jqrma/ "https://osf.io/jqrma/" [2]: https://osf.io/egj64/ "https://osf.io/egj64/"
