Wiki Version:
## Module Case Study ## Research cases provide discipline-specific context for students taking the MOOC. The use of case studies can be a very effective teaching technique by highlighting relevant research data management concepts into teachable moment. Best practices of data management apply across all disciplines, but the use of teaching cases has been recognized for their value in emphasizing certain issues for students conducting research in specific disciplines. The case studies also include open ended questions which come with explanations of best practices or correct answers for students to compare their inputs to. Readings include real life case studies created by practitioners in many different science areas. These research cases provide discipline-specific context for students taking the MOOC and demonstrate data management best (or not) practices.

#### Module 6: Share and Share Alike? #### 1) [Reading][1]: Research Case Narrative 2) [Questions][2]: Open Ended Questions on Teachable Moments 3) [Explanations][3]: Question and Answer Explanations of Best Practices [1]: https://osf.io/92eq3/wiki/Case%20Study%20Reading/ [2]: https://osf.io/92eq3/wiki/Case%20Study%20Questions/ [3]: https://osf.io/92eq3/wiki/Question%20Explanations/
