This folder contains data and SAS syntax relevant to Study 1 of the article, *Initial Elevation Bias in Subjective Reports*. The syntax references four different data sets. The first (day8vday1.sas7bdat) allows the within person test of day 1 reports relative to day 8. The second (day22.sas7bdat) allows the between-persons comparison of the group completing day 22 for the first time to those who completed day 22 as part of the diary. Similarly the other data sets (day35.sas7bdat; day44.sas7bdat) allow between person comparisions of persons completing the survey for the first time on day 35 or 44 with those in the diary condition.
