Description: I offer a cleaned and merged version of the National Health Expenditure Accounts State Historical Data. This is the provider data from 1980 to 2020. I transform the data from "wide" to "long" form and merge the 3 files (overall, Medicare, and Medicaid spending) together in the "NHEA 2020" files. The "NHEA2020enhanced" file additionally offers statefip codes and inflation-adjusted spending variables.
