Abstract: The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis makes available to the
public a wealth of economic data through the FRED and FRASER websites. In
an effort to make this data more accessible for students and educators, the
St. Louis Fed economic education team is working with institutional
librarians and data experts to produce open access curriculum materials to
encourage use of research and government data in history, social studies,
and civics and government classrooms. This presentation will discuss the
reasoning for developing these materials, introduce the lessons, and
discuss future plans
