Category: Procedure
Description: Subjects will be excluded from the analysis: when the withdraw their informed consent, when they quit during the test, when they repeatedly ask the experimenter for help and do not seem to understand the water jar task; when the experimenter makes a mistake (e.g., failing to record the data), when the test setting is interrupted by unforeseen external circumstances. Data analysis will screen for statistic outliers (Tukey criterion). Once extreme outliers are linked to misunderstandings of the instructions (as possibly noted by the experimenter), the data will be excluded, otherwise included. Mild outliers will not be excluded. Missing data due to procedure failings may be replaced if students' capacities allow for that. Exclusions which come up after the end of the testing period will not be replaced.
