Wiki Version:
This repository contains **data and R code** used to generate the manuscript titled: "Route effects in city-based survey knowledge estimates". The manuscript was generated using the 'papaja' R package. This means, you can reproduce the entire PDF document within the RStudio environment. You will need to install [R][1] and [RStudio][2]. Then, download the files, unpack them, run the file named 'pointing_across_barriers.Rproj'. Within the newly opened RStudio window navigate to the file named 'manuscript.Rmd' and open it (bottom right window). You will see all code and text that were used to analyse the data and generate the manuscript. You can press the "Knit" button to re-generate the .pdf document and/or modify the code (or data) to test alternative hypotheses or run additional checks on the data. Please note that running the code will trigger fitting Bayesian statistical models. Expect execution time of few hours, for a standard PC. See the README file in the attached GitLab repository for more details. [1]: https://www.r-project.org/ [2]: https://www.rstudio.com/
