**Description:** There are no universally accepted classification and standardized measures to determine foot types. The goal of this study will be performing a systematic review to verify the evaluation methods considered valid and/or reliable for foot type classification.
This systematic review is part of a PhD thesis which will deal with two other studies on a new foot type assessment tool based on the Multiscale Fractal Dimension (DFM) of images generated by plantar pressure measurements under dynamic conditions and the test-retest reliability assessment of these measures.
