Wiki Version:
Procedure to evaluate how much Wikipedia is a relevant open educational resource in your country 1. Analyse the national school curriculum or syllabus to identify relevant topics: the analysis can be based on schoolbooks (method applied in Italy), content requested by exams (method applied in South Africa and Cameroon) or by interviewing teachers (method applied in Uruguay). 2. Associate the school topics to relevant Wikipedia articles. Identify also articles which do not exist. 3. Create a selection of articles by associating Wikipedia articles to categories (method applied in South Africa and initially applied in Italy) or through Wikidata (method applied in Uruguay and in Italy) 4. Collect relevant information about the Wikipedia articles: length, size of the incipt, presence of images, references, presence of alerts, visualizations. 5. Visualize the articles 6. Analyse the articles: missing information, 7. Organise an event online or offline to trigger the involvment of volunteers in improving the articles 8. Evaluate the articles the next year to see if there are changes and improvements.
