Description: In this project, we assess the viability of the Makuyuni Wildlife Corridor in Tanzania using a combination of field observations in a transect survey and a geographic informaion system (GIS) least cost corridor model based on land cover, settlements, and road infrastructure. Field observations are used to inform and to validate the least cost corridor model.
