Description: Compound Remote Associates (CRA) problems are frequently used to assess creativity. However, several attributes--including both cognitive abilities and personality traits--influence the ability to solve CRA problems successfully. Across three samples, this study will examine the connection between CRA problem solving and several individual differences. We will also assess whether CRA problem solving is associated with broad areas of interest, reflected in career choice and college major choice.
