Wiki Version:
Attached to this note is our project proposal to the special issue of the journal *Social Psychology*, which includes the analyses of the completed Replication Studies 1 and 2. Please note, there are two files attached. The first file is our submitted proposal, the second an updated proposal. The files also link to the datafiles from IJzerman's dropbox. During the course of the analyses, we found out that SPSS inserted the value "4" instead of a missing variable for a "user missing" variable in computing the mean for a scale. The "missingscorrect" file has these errors corrected. All analyses remain similar, with slight changes to the numbers (track changes is still turned on in this version).
