The past decade has seen the advent of new computational infrastructure to ensure the rigor and reproducibility of experiments and to aid the retrieval and re-exploration of existing datasets in search of new discoveries. The Center for Open Science has developed tools to assist with project management, collaboration, preregistration of studies, and sharing of experimental results. CEDAR provides technology that enables investigators to author metadata that annotate experimental datasets using community standards and controlled terminologies, helping to make the data more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). We will present these tools, describe their features, and discuss the synergies that may accrue when these technologies are used together.
This project is part of the Professional Development session with COS and CEDAR.
