Wiki Version:
**About** --------- Welcome to the lab page of the Psychology of Language Research Group. The group is led by Prof. Nivedita Mani and based at the University of Göttingen. On this page, you can find information about us, our ongoing and published projects. Our group is interested in early word learning, that is, how infants and young children learn words, how these words sound and what meaning they have, and how they come to recognize these words when they next encounter them. To us, the question of how young language learners acquire words is one of the corner stones of language processing. We address these research questions with several methods, including eyetracking, electroencephalography (EEG), and online studies.
