Wiki Version:
Research question: What are the barriers and facilitators to implementing comprehensive health assessments as part of routine practice in primary care for people with an intellectual disability? Methods: To address this research question, we will conduct a scoping review of primary research studies that meet our inclusion criteria, extracting barriers and enablers and mapping them according to the Theoretical Domains Framework. This scoping review study will be conducted according to the JBI methodological approach for scoping review and reporting guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). Outcomes: We anticipate that the review findings will contribute to the development of strategies and interventions to improve the implementation of health assessments in primary care.
