Description: The purpose of the project is to take stock of how the infodemic has impacted health systems and their effectiveness, as well as to chart recommendations for how health authorities can adapt to the compounded challenges that a protracted health emergency, stressed health systems and fatigued populations are posing to recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic acute emergency. We aim to systematically identify, map, and collate the existing literature, and the gaps in literature, on infodemic management (IM) during COVID-19 in order to inform upcoming dialogues and discourses on IM frameworks, strategies, interventions, and metrics.
