Description: Creativity research, whether fundamental or applied, often ultimately aims to “improve creativity”. However, we currently lack insight into the most efficient way to do so. Two lines of interventions emerge from the literature as especially promising: cognitive training and neurostimulation. The primary objective of this study is therefore to compare the effectiveness of cognitive training and neurostimulation programs in improving divergent thinking in a meta-analysis.
