Description: This rapid review aims to identify and synthesise existing evidence on the short- and long-term mental health and wellbeing, educational, and physical health outcomes of children who have been involved in private family law proceedings due to parental separation, to shine a light on the needs of this group of children who are often overlooked in policy. It is being conducted by the Cardiff Evidence Synthesis Collaborative, Cardiff University, as part of the Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre work programme, on request from Cafcass Cymru.
