Description: The Panel on Perceptions of Crime and Offenders (PaWaKS) is the first criminological study to examine perceptions of these topics longitudinally on this scale in Germany. Here, you will find the fundamentals of our PaWaKS study. At five data collection points over a period of 24 months, we examine correlations between the perceptions of crime and offenders with various psychological, sociological and demographic psychological, sociological and demographic variables. In this repository, you will find the theoretical background of the study as well as the complete documentation of all survey instruments used in each wave of our longitudinal study. This repository primarily addresses scientists and researchers who want to gain a deeper insight into the methodology of PaWaKS and are interested in cooperating in the process of data analysis. However, it should also serve as a stimulus for interested parties to get in touch with us. We are looking forward to any exchange and cooperation with academia, practitioners, and policymakers that may arise in connection with this study.
