# About this module:
This module was created for the **Streamwatch project**, based at the Australian Museum in Sydney, Australia. The module has been designed as a community science module for monitoring water quality in streams and lakes in Sydney and its immediate vicinity.
## Authorship:
This module was co-developed by Gregory McDonald at the Australian Museum and Petra Janouchova at the FAIMS Project, Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University.
## Funding:
Development of this module was funded by the **Research Attraction and Acceleration Program (RAAP) NSW Department of Industry 16805/00** aimed to support innovation and investment in the New South Wales in 2016 and 2017.

## This module contains the following FAIMS features:
* user sign-up (users can create their own accounts)
* validated fields with user observations
* controlled vocabularies
* coordinates from internal GPS
* attribute-level timestamps
## This module can be used with no or minor modification for:
* simple monitoring of water quality (Phosphate, Oxygen, Ecoli, Ph measuring ...)
* longitudinal monitoring of sites (initial visit followed by revisits)
