![enter image description here][1] **Project Description** Focusing solely at the secondary characteristics of the discipline education (e.g., institutional manifestations, publications, third-party funding) it can be considered a very successful discipline. However, having a closer look at the discipline’s primary characteristics – which could be considered the disciplinary heart – such as particular objects of research, genuine theories, and concepts, and specific terminology, the problem of educational theory is revealed. In this project way of tackling this problem are discussed to stimulate the discourse on theorising education. **Publications** Siegel, Stefan T.; Biesta, Gert (2022): El Problema de la Teoría de la Educación.
