Wiki Version:
Target of replication: *A priori* experimental protocols, materials, and confirmatory analysis plans were peer reviewed, [pre-registered][1], and published by [*eLife*][2]. This component includes all primary data, analysis scripts, and QC data for the replication of the experiment reported in Figure 2D of [Sugahara et al. 2010][3]. This experiment was performed to assess the impact on cellular apoptosis (as defined by TUNEL) of tumors and heart in mice that were treated with 1 mg/kg DOX + PBS, or 1 mg/kg DOX + 4 µmol/kg for 24 days. <br> ### Contents [Figures component][4] contains a visualization of replication results. These figures are the same as can be found in the Replication Study and include Figure 4 displaying TUNEL scoring in mouse tissue. [Statistical Analyses component][5] contains R scripts that were used for the analyses. [Data Component][6] contains data generated from the experimental work and files used in the analysis and generation of figures, which are in .csv format. [TUNEL control data component][7] contains the negative and positive controls sections that were stained in parallel to the tumor and heart samples. [Methods component][8] contains methodology details for this replication attempt which were described in the [Registered Report][9]. [Cell line quality control data][10] includes results confirming the cell lines were free of mycoplasma contamination and common mouse pathogens as well as STR DNA profiling of the cell lines used. [iRGD peptide component][11] contains the methods and quality control data generated during the synthesis.
