This repository is for the paper: **Mathur MB & VanderWeele TJ. R function for additive interaction measures. *Epidemiology.* 29 (1), e5-e6.** This repository contains: 1. Documentation on the function's arguments and output 2. Vignettes demonstrating application of the function to several simulated datasets Briefly, the R function: 1. Computes point estimates and inference on the relative excess risk due to interaction (RERI), attributable proportion (AP), and proportion of joint effect due to interaction and to each exposure separately 2. Conducts hypothesis tests for the presence of mechanistic interactions (compositional epistasis and synergism)
