Description: The objective of our review is to provide interested authors in interprofessional education with a clearer perspective on what has been explicitly explored on this topic. The results of this scoping review will highlight the currently available literature and identify gaps in knowledge regarding specific components of the structure used in our study. Additionally, evaluating the theoretical foundation of existing articles will identify how other structures approach the concepts and how they relate to readiness for interprofessional learning. These findings will provide a more solid foundation for new research directions that foster reflection and develop or reinforce interventions related to readiness in interprofessional learning. The question guiding this review protocol and its objectives indicate the need for a scoping approach instead of a systematic one. This scoping review protocol will examine and map data from studies on readiness for interprofessional learning based on the conceptual framework of La Calle. Mapping recent trends, differences between countries, and how concepts are combined and studied will inform how humanized care is achieved. We will include studies focusing on interprofessional education in medical students or its components to unite existing literature under the broad umbrella of care humanization. The keywords were: Learning; Interprofessional Education; Medical Students; Interdisciplinary Communication, and Medical Education.
