Wiki Version:
Thank you for your interest in training individuals to CAID code! On this OSF page, you will find everything you need to successfully and efficiently train coders. The **"Training Manual for Continuous Assessment of Interpersonal Dynamics"** is a training manual designed for trainers to understand how to train coders. It has a 4-week/ 17.5 hour training. It includes background on the IPC, the training syllabus, and how to lead coders through training. Please read through this manual before the start of training. The **"Shortened Training Manual for Continuous Assessment of Interpersonal Dynamics"** is a training manual that outlines a 4-hour training. The **"Training Videos"** and **"Expert Codes"** components have the training videos included in the syllabus, and the expert codes to compare trainee codes to. I have also included an R package, called **CAIDdataAnalysis**, that will help you to analyze the codes that are created using CAID. It will also help you to understand how your coders are doing (accuracy and agreement) throughout training. *Please read the "README" file to understand the functions that are included in this package.* Lastly, I want to continue to refine and improve this training, so I ask you to email me the codes you produce during training, so I can evaluate the training protocol. Please see **"data_sharing_README"** for more information about this initiative.
