Description: Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, mask-wearing has become a new requirement worldwide. How mask-wearing would impact our social cognition and behaviors for everyday activities? The present study investigated how perceptual ability to extract crowd emotion to interpret the overall social environment is influenced by seeing only the upper half of faces by wearing masks.
