Wiki Version:
The two Word documents (.docx) are the questionnaires for each study. Inside each document the scales are labeled as in the published article. Study 1 involved university dating students and Study 2 included a community sample and both dating and married individuals. The two SPSS data files (.sav) include all of the raw data, any recoded data, along with the calculated means for each scale. Where necessary, the variable labels indicate what each code refers to in the variable. The syntax files (sps) are included for researchers who would like to use any of the included scales or to examine how scales such as the relationship social comparison interpretations were coded into its subscales. The output of the syntax is already included in the data file so is not needed to examine the current data.
