## Read me ### Acquisition Data were acquired on a SIEMENS MAGNETOM 7T MRI system with head gradient insert and adapted 32-channel head coil (Nova Medical, Wilmington, MA, USA). For details on acquisition parameters, please refer to the original article. ### Data files Each subject's primary folder contains subfolders anat, func, vois, and onsets: - the 'anat' folder contains the T1-weighted anatomical image (.nii format) - the 'func' folder contains 6 runs of preprocessed functional data (.nii format), in the subject's native space (see the original paper for more details on the preprocessing steps applied), as well as the corresponding realignment parameter files (.txt) - the 'vois' folder contains binary masks (.nii format) for diverse regions of interest derived from either Wang et al. (2015) or Destrieux et al. (2010) atlases, in the same space as the functional data - the 'onsets' folder contains information on the events types modelled for the different functional runs (.mat files according to the convention used by SPM12 - containing cell arrays 'names', 'onsets', and 'durations') ### Nomenclature Event types 1 to 36 correspond to: - the different sample stimulus conditions which result from all combinations of 3 numerosities, 3 average item sizes, 2 total field areas, and 2 tasks - these conditions are named according to the convention of 'N[1:3]_S[1:3]_TFA[1:2]_J[1:2]', where: - N1, N2, and N3 refer to: small, medium, and large numerosity - S1, S2, and S3 refer to: small, medium, and large average item size - TFA1 and TFA2 refer to: small and large total field area - J1 and J2 refer to: number or item size as the relevant dimension to be judged for the task Event types 37 to 39 correspond to: - 'PLeft': probe stimulus with response by left button press - 'PRight': probe stimulus with response by right button press - 'Instr': presentation of instruction screens
