We anticipate sampling 80 people, 50% men and 50% women, ranging from ages 18-26. These participants will be chosen through convenience sampling from a pool of students attending Brigham Young University-Idaho.The participants will do an online Qualtrics survey at their own convience. In order to measure self-esteem we will use the Rosenberg scale (RSE). To measure our new variable, we will be using a portion of the introversion scale developed by McCroskey. This is measured on a continuum and is not a dichotomous measurment. To measure perception on Facebook we will use the scales Forest and Wood compiled containing four different questionnaires.
