Wiki Version:
This research tracking and facilitation initiative is led by Professor Maree Teesson, Associate Professor Cath Chapman, Associate Professor Tim Slade and Dr Matthew Sunderland at [The Matilda Centre][1], and the [NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Prevention and Early Intervention of Mental Illness and Substance Use (PREMISE)][2] at The University of Sydney and Professor Phil Batterham at the [Australian National University][3]. This is a targeted project that aims to track research being undertaken on COVID-19 and mental health by Australian researchers and to provide a platform to facilitate collaboration and encourage open science. This includes sharing information and meta-data regarding the projects. We are hoping this will also facilitate sharing of data in the future and possibly harmonising related datasets. The data for each project will be handled by the chief investigators/data custodians for that project. Any decisions about data sharing or collaboration are at the discretion of the chief investigators for each project. Please contact co-ordinators of participating studies directly if you wish to know more about the research they are undertaking. Participants are researchers at the Matilda Centre, our PREMISE partnering institutions, collaborators and other Australian-based researchers. We are interested in research you may be undertaking with your existing cohorts, as well as new research you may be planning or conducting. We are interested in studies that are measuring one or more mental health outcomes. We aware that a number of administrative and government datasets contain information about other indicators such as service utilisation and these initiatives are not captured here. If you wish to be part of this initiative, [please fill out this form][4] so we can share and be aware of the research being undertaken in this important area. If you have any questions please get in touch with Dr Matt Sunderland, Senior Research Fellow and Program Lead, Methodology and Measurement, Matilda Centre (matthew.sunderland@sydney.edu.au) or A/Prof Cath Chapman, Program Director, PREMISE (cath.chapman@sydney.edu.au).
