The overall certainty of evidence was evaluated with the GRADE guidelines (Schunemann et al., 2013). This systematic approach takes in consideration the following domains: 1) risk of bias; 2) imprecision in data analysis and account of missing data; 3) inconsistency across studies in the estimate of the effect; 4) indirectness; and 5) publication bias.
