Description: Objective: To evaluate the impact and operating strategies that the official Dentistry undergraduate courses in Brazil adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: This survey was designed as a cross-sectional prospective observational quantitative study, and was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Dentistry Faculty of Piracicaba of the State University of Campinas, under registration CAAE n °: 31939920.7.0000.5418 (http: // Plataformabrasil .saude.gov.br / login.jsf). All coordinators of undergraduate courses in dentistry in Brazil (n=481) were contacted via email and invited to answer an online questionnaire consisting of eight questions, based on four domains: suspension of academic activities, activities maintained, teaching alternatives offered and planning of post-pandemic changes (e-mails were sent in May and June 2020). The response rate was analyzed by stratification by legal nature, the result of the national performance assessment (ENADE) and time of creation of the courses. The questionnaire responses data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and expressed as absolute or relative frequency.
