Wiki Version:
These files and data are part of work to examine how participants mentally take sides between different parties in a conflict, when they read a story about this conflict. We built two studies. In Study 1, a lop-sided conflict occurs where one character acts aggressively toward the other. In Study 2, we built ongoing narratives with escalations of violence between two characters, with both sides committing acts of aggression. In both studies, participants were interrupted throughout to answer questions about each character.
