Description: The aim is to describe the relationship between adherence to Canada’s Food Guide 2019 recommendations on healthy food choices and intake of key nutrients for older adults. Adherence to Canada’s Food Guide is measured using the Healthy Eating Food Index (HEFI)-2019. Older adults are respondents aged 65 y or older from the Canadian Community Health Survey 2015 - Nutrition.
