Wiki Version:
**To Reproduce Our Analyses and Manuscript From Scratch:** 1. Create the directory structure. Create two directories at the same level within the project on your local computer, one for the analysis scripts (./infostudy/manuscript), and one for the data (./infostudy/data). (In these examples, the project on the local computer is called "infostudy" but you can use whatever name you prefer for the project. Same for the analysis scrips directory name. However, as written, the script will assume you're calling the data directory "data".) 2. Within the data directory, create a subdirectory called "scoring" (./infostudy/data/scoring) and one called "M&O2014" (./infostudy/data/M&O2014). Within M&O2014, create a subdirectory called "updated", which is where the files from the 2018 corrigendem should be housed (./infostudy/data/M&O2014/updated). 3. Download the following files to the ./infostudy/manuscript directory: - 00_Urry_et_al_manuscript.Rmd - 01_read_data_demog.R - 02_descript_effectsizes.R - 03_confirmatory_wc_vo.R - 04_exploratory_bayes.R - 05_appendix.Rmd - refs.bib - glrstab.R - Repfunctionspack6.R 4. Download the infostudy_data.csv data file to ./infostudy/data directory (See Data component). 5. Download the infostudy_reliability.csv file to ./infostudy/data/scoring directory (See Data component). 6. Download the M&O2014 updated data files ("Study 1 abbreviated data.csv", "Study 2 abbreviated data.csv", and "Study 3 abbreviated data.csv") to ./infostudy/data/M&O2014/updated (See Data component). 7. After confirming that the data and scripts are stored as described, open 00_Urry_et_al_manuscript.Rmd in RStudio. Head to the setup code chunk and make sure you've installed all required packages. (See our session info at the end of 05_appendix.pdf - located in the Analysis Output component - for information about the R package versions we used.) 8. Click Knit. Depending on the specs of the computer you're using, it may take 10-15 minutes to run from scratch (due to the bootstrapping of reliability coefficient confidence intervals). It will produce 00_Urry_et_al_manuscript.pdf. It will also produce a set of intermediate, cached information (00_Urry_et_al_manuscript_cache), a lot of figures (Figs), and the R environment (00_Urry_et_al_workspace.RData). (See our Analysis Output component.)
