Wiki Version:
Data sharing is considered as an integral part of Open Science and in recent years funders and publishers have started to implement data sharing policies. In addition to the traditional supplement to a journal article, authors are enforced or encouraged to publish data independently from research results in data repositories or data journals. This practice is very new for educational research and researchers are often not aware about the options available for them. In this webinar we will discuss benefits of publishing research data, best practices in seeking appropriate repositories and ensuring data privacy. You’ll come away with a clear understanding of why and how to publicly share your data and still ensure its privacy. This workshop will be of interest to PhD students, early career researchers, and established academics who would like to learn how to share research data. No previous knowledge is required!
