A radiofrequency coil for infants and toddlers ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kyle M. Gilbert, Emily S. Nichols, Joseph S. Gati, Emma G. Duerden ---------- Project Overview: ---------------- This project contains data pertaining to the development of a paediatric RF coil designed for imaging infants and toddlers from three months old to three years old. Included datasets: ------------------ Included in this dataset are: 1. CAD drawings (in .IGES format) of the RF coil in its three configurations -- for children up to 3 months of age, children between 3 months and 1 year of age, and children aged 1 to 3 years 2. All imaging data pertaining to its performance evaluation: - Noise correlation - SNR comparison between the paediatric coil and a commercially available adult head/neck coil and head-only coil - SNR comparison when the paediatric coil was configured in its largest versus smallest geometry - Geometry factor comparison between the paediatric coil and a commercially available adult head/neck coil and head-only coil
