Wiki Version:
This OSF-project contains the data, analysis scripts and results accompanying the article: Individual Differences in Emotion Regulation: Personal Tendency in Strategy Selection Is Related to Implementation Capacity and Well-Being ---------- ### Review code If you wish to simply review the code and plots, open the respective .html file (Script_Article.html or Script_Supplement.html) in the Analyses/ folder. See the Data/codebook.html file for information on variable content and coding. ### Reproduce results If you wish to run the analyses yourself please follow these steps: 1. Download the entire file structure 2. Open the .Rproj file in the Analyses/ folder in RStudio. From there, open the script you want to run (Analyses/Script_Article.Rmd or Analyses/Script_Supplement.Rmd). 3. After each code chunk that runs an analysis, there is another code chunk that loads the results reported in the article or supplement (all stored in the Analyses/Results/). 4. *Note*: The scripts load .rds files which already contain variable content and coding information (see first note in the respective .Rmd script). In case you want to run analyses outside of R, you can load the respective .tsv (tab-separated values) data files which are also provided in Data/. In that case, you will need to read the Data/codebook.html file for information on variable content and coding information.
