How Newspapers from Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Switzerland Portray Syrian and Ukrainian Refugees – Evidence from a Deductive and Inductive Automated Content Analysis" by Lukas Benedikt Hoffmann and Michael Hameleers. <br> Final Code Version and Datasets ------------------------------- <br> This folder entails the datasets for the four countries as sampled from NexisUni (a minor cleaning and structuring step was done in R). These datasets are labelled: <br> - "Germany_final.csv" - "spain_final.csv" - "Switzerland_final.csv" - "UK_final.csv" <br> These datasets are needed to run the following python code for the preparation and execution of the LDA models used in our study. This is the code: <br> - Hoffmann & Hameleers 2024 LDA for Manuscript Final.ipynb - as HTML file: Hoffmann & Hameleers 2024 LDA for Manuscript Final.html <br> Further, we have stored the following datasets which are the final results of the topic modeling with each row representing an article, including a column on the *most dominant topic* of the respective article. We used the dominance for the analyses.
