Description: The DIME Research Standards Bootcamps are hands-on workshops focused on real-time adoption of best practice research standards. Research Reproducibility Bootcamp: participating projects learn how to use GitHub for version control, create GitHub repositories, and migrate all the data work for their project to the new repository, and organizing reproducible workflows. Data Security Bootcamp: participating projects learn how to keep data safe and secure at all stages of a research project. The main topics are how to securely collect, store and share confidential data. We also discuss ethical protocols for safely collecting confidential data and introduce an informed consent template.
