Description: Problem statement: The one-abutment, one-time technique has been studied in several randomized clinical trials to evaluate its results compared to the multiple disconnection protocol. However, considering that bone remodeling begins soon after the installation of an implant, are there differences in outcomes when this technique is used with immediate implants versus those installed later? Aim: To systematically review the current dental literature on the one-abutment, one- time technique and to determine, through meta-analysis, its impact on survival rates and bone remodeling when used with immediate or delayed implants.
