Description: It has been suggested that tooth eruption is a physiological process that affects babies and children, causing several signs and symptoms during the appearance of the teeth through the gingiva, such as fever, irritability, itchy gums and anxiety. Knowing the effectiveness of the treatments used to alleviate them is a relevant issue that would contribute to the implementation of therapeutic strategies in clinical practice. Because there is no consensus in the literature on the matter, the conduction of a systematic review is warranted
This record ia a systematic review protocol entiled: "What is the effectiveness of the treatments used to alleviate the signs and symptoms associated with teething?"This protocol contains criteria for study selection,Search process for identification of studies,Data collection,Evaluation of risk of bias in included articles and Data Synthesis.
