Description: This dataset contains data from a male person (age 37 years, height 1.80 m, body mass 71 kg) who voluntarily undertook a 7.5 km hike in a flat urban area with a total slope of 50 m and moderate traffic while wearing two body-attached sensor networks (BASN) to collect plantar pressure data and inertial data (accelerations and angular velocities). The two BASN consisted of a small, lightweight and portable sensor node [1, 2] and a pair of pressure insoles (Smart footwear sensors/HD 002, IEE, Echternach, LUX). 1 Hill M, Hoena B, Kilian W et al. However, it will be commercially available in the next future (https://www.envisible.de/). Funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German ResearchFoundation) – Project-ID 416228727 – SFB 1410 and co-financed with tax funds on the basis of the budget passed by the Sächsischer Landtag (Saxon state parliament) – Project-ID 100378180.
