Jesse Snedeker **Data Collection:** Cambridge **Description** Ten native English speakers classified 42 fear-type and 216 frighten-type verbs from Levin (1993) into the thirteen basic emotions listed by Ekman (1992), plus the category of “other”. Note that we glossed his positive emotion category (“amusement, relief, sensory pleasure, pride in achievement, the thrill of excitement, satisfaction, and contentment”; Ekman, 1992, p. 190) as “enjoyment”. **Notes:** None
