# The persuasive effects of political microtargeting in the age of generative AI ___ This repository contains the data and code as an R project. Please download all the files and folder, and open `manipulation_machine_paper.Rproj` in RStudio. # Data Raw data are found in the 'data' and 'validation_studies' folders. # Analyses To run the main analysis, go to `scripts/main_analysis.r`. Other analyses are found in the `scripts` folder and may require running other scripts beforehand (e.g., `main_analysis.r`). Please follow instructions within the code. # Stimuli Here you can find the original stimuli used in each study, and two csv files that correspond to the generated political ads by GPT-3 and ChatGPT.
