*The manuscript is currently in revision and the link will be posted here as soon as available.* This data repository contains the speech stimulus material, its transcripts and trigger times, preprocessed electroencephalography (EEG) data, and anonymized participant information for the manuscript "*Hearing and Cognitive Decline in Aging Differentially Impact Neural Tracking of (Non-)Contextual Natural Speech Across Linguistic Timescales*," currently in preparation. Please note that this repository only contains data. The codes used for data processing, neurophysiological analyses, and statistical analyses in Python and R are published at [github.com/elbolt/neuroscales][1]. - **Data sets to run statistical analyses**: Contains the data sets used for the statistical analyses reported in the manuscript. - **Preprocessed EEG files**: Contains segmented, cleaned EEG epoch objects (MNE-Python `.fif` format) locked to speech-onset and target noun-onset, respectively. - **Participant files**: Contains log files, including the randomized order of trials (as represented in the epoch objects), participant demographic data, and audiometric measurements. - **Speech stimulus materials**: Contains audio files for each speech stimulus used in the auditory EEG paradigm, their transcripts with trigger segments, and the trigger timepoints used for the experiment.
