Description: This project investigates how effort shapes valuation by dissociating hedonic judgments (liking) from monetary judgments (price/WTP/WTA). Across lab and online experiments (real effort and observed effort; within- and between-subjects pricing), we show that working for an item can make people like it less yet price it higher.
