Description: This field study evaluates whether embedding a statutory-grade compliance framework — the Disclosure Integrity Protocol (DIP) — into influencer marketing workflows can reduce consumer deception, improve FTC disclosure adherence, and lower compliance costs. Implemented through the SwayID Smart Disclosure System, DIP replaces ad hoc disclosures with audit-grade infrastructure — especially important for protecting vulnerable groups like teens exposed to sponsored content on TikTok. The study measures pre/post changes in consistency, legal defensibility, and operational burden across U.S. beauty brands.
