<p>This project is part of the long-term efforts of a large group of ornithologists and conservationalists from a variety of countries to retract a fraudulent study on the breeding biology of the Basra Reed Warbler <em>Acrocephalus griseldis</em>. This study was published in the peer-reviewed journal 'Zoology in the Middle East' (Al-Sheikhly <em>et al</em>. 2013, 2015).
