Description: Through this project, we want to gain a better understanding of the German media debate on the taxation of animal-based foods, using a qualitative framing analysis approach. Based on this analysis, we will derive recommendations on how stakeholder can contribute to an evidence-informed and nuanced public debate on this topic, and on how relevant policies can be designed and communicated in ways that maximize their acceptability among key stakeholders, including the public.
